The notice to appear on Macquarie University websites
Add the following words to each page of the website:

• Including this in a footer or template makes the process easier. The University website template includes this notice.
• It also may be useful to link to the copyright website www.copyright.mq.edu.au
• Including the year is optional. You could also indicate that the material was produced over a number of years, eg 'Copyright 1998 - 2004 Macquarie University'
The text or symbol (c) or © are not required however they are easily recognisable, and do form a legal claim in some countries for material produced in those countries (such as the US).
